A Journey Through Culture, Design & Art | Tinay is an interior architectural design studio where space, culture, and artistic expression converge. Guided by a global perspective, the studio creates environments defined by materiality, form, and atmosphere — each project conceived as a timeless and immersive experience beyond aesthetics.

Founded by a designer with over 20 years of international experience across the United States, Qatar, and France, the studio's design approach is rooted in a life shaped by global exposure. Born into a family of multi-generational diplomats, our founder's early years were spent living across multiple continents, forming a distinct multicultural sensibility. Educated in Boston, he holds an M.A. in Interior Architecture and a B.S. in Interior Design. Prior to relocating to France and founding the studio, he previously served as a Senior Designer and Client Representative for a major oil and gas corporation during the design & construction of their corporate headquarters in Doha, Qatar.

Working across interior architectural design, furniture, graphics and art, the studio embraces a holistic approach where design and artistic expression are seamlessly integrated. The result is a body of work that is understated, precise, and quietly expressive. Based in Sérignan, in the Occitanie region of Southern France, Tinay collaborates with a network of skilled artisans & professionals to deliver bespoke projects for private and commercial clients—from concept to completion.
